Online magazines are a great way to give marketing support to events and can help stay in touch with the audience throughout the year.

Working on a project to create a brand new online magazine with the capability to manage all the subscribers and also use the system for email marketing meant it took a few weeks to build.  In the meantime we managed to create a temporary magazine site within the existing exhibition website.  Working with the exhibition website company Expocms who built the exhibition website, a magazine section was been created within the exhibition website.  This offered a great opportunity to launch the magazine concept and get the industry updated on what the magazine is about and worked well within the existing site.

The new main magazine site is now launched and all the stories from the temporary site were transferred over.  It offers an online news and industry site with very flexible options for various menus and special highlights such as Exhibitor Spotlights.

It is a simple back office system where it is easy to upload stories and set them to go live and the database that works with it offers easy options to send out weekly newsletters to the whole list of readers or to specific sectors or groups.  The database is maintained with an easy system to manage new sign ups; unsubscribes and also offers the options for general email marketing offering the opportunity to manage all your data in one place.

It also offers the options to manage online advertising within the site.
